Impact: Jamie's presentation impacted me the most out of the three, because heart disease and heart attacks run in my family and have caused many people to pass away. Because of that, it is important to me that I learn about the causes of the disease and ways to prevent it and even live a long life with the disease.
2. Kristin Alexa-Roache - Autism

Learned:
Braden is 5 & in kindergarten
She started to realize he had autism at 15 months and was officially diagnosed at 21 months
Braden has pretty severe autism, and is considered nonverbal, but it has improved through treatments like hippotherapy, speech therapy, physical therapy, ABA therapy, and aquatic therapy
Braden loves space and outdoor activities
Impact: Kristen's presentation impacted me because it made me realize what it is really like to have a child with autism, and how children/kids affected can still have happy lives. I learned a lot about disorder, and it makes me want to find a way to help get a cure.
3. Jenn- End 68 Hours of Hunger

68 hours between Friday after school & Monday morning
Provides food for elementary school kids that wouldn't get food on the weekends - gives them bags of nonperishable food
End 68 Hours of Hunger is a national organization that is entirely volunteer run & 100% of funding comes from donations and companies
Mainly in MA, NH, NY, & CT
Helps poverty-stricken & immigrant families
Impact: Jenn's presentation impacted me because I knew that there are many children that suffer from hunger in the world, but this made me realize how real this problem is, and there are children that live so close to me that have to go through this. I learned a lot of facts about child hunger and the organization 68 Hours of Hunger, and I know that I will volunteer there someday.
